DAISY’S FILM YARD presents a one-night-only deep winter mini film festival, on the evening of Saturday January 31, 2026 at Casa Obscura. Bring your strange films to the yard! let them loose! 

 

Submission guidelines~ Films should be under 25 minutes long, and made in the last five years. Deadline: January 10, 2026. Email daisysfilmyard@gmail.com with a Vimeo/YouTube/Google Drive link and password. Please also send a synopsis of the film and director’s bio. No geographic restrictions, no submission fee. There is no theme, but a special emphasis on experimental works; works that challenge conventional filmmaking; video art; docs and hybrid docu-fiction; films with a strong sonic component; films shot on tape or analog film. We welcome films that get their hands dirty, films that throw a wrench in things, films that are poems, films that sing lullabies to rivers, etc. See you in the deep winter 📽️
